Toyota Tsusho (Australasia) Pty Ltd and TT Logistics (Australasia) Pty Ltd are committed to protecting the environment and reducing the environmental impacts relating to their operations, activities and services at the Laverton North site.
These activities being in the areas of:
- The sourcing and sales of components, raw materials and machinery for the automotive and general industries.
- The provision of contract warehousing, logistics management, management of the transport and distribution services for automotive and non-automotive industries. Processes include goods receiving, repacking, inventory management, storage, management of the transport services and distribution of materials.
Toyota Tsusho (Australasia) Pty Ltd and TT Logistics (Australasia) Pty Ltd will maintain an Environmental Management System meeting the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001.
We will achieve this by:
- Establishing environmental objectives and targets and monitoring their progress towards achievement;
- Committing to continuously improve our environmental performance;
- Complying with environmental regulations and statutory requirements;
- Fulfilling any obligations which have been agreed to with suppliers, customers and other applicable parties;
- Preventing pollution of the environment from normal, abnormal or emergency conditions by means of adequate operational controls and an emergency preparedness plan;
- Fostering amongst employees an understanding of environmental operating best practices and commitment to the Environmental Policy and Management System;
- Ensuring the Environmental Management System is resourced and annually reviewed
